The Museum is now closed for the winter.
We will re-open with new displays in April 2027

Volunteers from the Largs & District Historical Society can provide a tour of the Old Graveyard which contains the Skelmorlie Aisle and the mausoleum of Sir Thomas Makdougall Brisbane. (see above for contact details)
Facilities & Access
The Museum has a wheelchair access ramp, but it is not suitable for motorised chairs.
Free wi-fi is available.
Education & schools
We work in partnership with other organisations interesting and educational day trip for groups and schools. These sessions can be tailored to fit the needs and interests of your group. Teachers and organisers are invited to contact the museum to discuss your requirements.
